Bossy R Song Freebie

We are working on the bossy r sound this week with er, ir, and ur. I love to introduce the phonics skill each day by singing a song that helps my kiddos remember the sound. I've noticed it really helps them with the spelling. Well, I have had a chorus in my head since the end of last week for a song that I wanted to write to sing with my kids this week. I kept forgetting to write it down but it would just come back. I decided to add some verses today and it's free for you to use in your classroom.

Have a great night!

  8. Hi! Thanks for the freebie. When I download the song, there is a mistake on the ir page. It says "like fist and first and fir" not as pictured on the blog "like third and first and fir". Just thought you might want to know.

    1. Hey! I noticed that when I sang it with my kiddos this morning. I corrected it on the newest version on my home computer but I uploaded the wrong one. I will fix it when I get home tonight. Sorry about that!
