I'm linking up with the Anchor Chart party at Ms. M's blog. Check out the great anchor charts found there from many different blogs.
We also read this really cute book that I saw on Pinterest. In the book, a moose ends up in a nest of ducks and the mother duck thinks he is her baby. Well, obviously, he can't do anything that ducks can do. The narrator has a funny way of speaking and the kids thought it was hilarious.
We compared it to the Hans Christian Anderson version of "The Ugly Duckling" using this Venn diagram.
We have also been working on the ar and or sounds. I found these great videos about r-controlled vowels. My kiddos love to sing this year so I am taking advantage of it.
You can find this on Youtube or on PBS Kids.
There's also a Between the Lions video that they love that you can find here.
I hope you have a good Friday. I plan on having a new song posted this weekend for r-controlled vowels so be sure to check back with me.

Thanks for the freebie and the links! I am doing the Animal Baths story form Treasures next week, so I can't wait to check all these resources out! Thanks for sharing. :)
