More Morning Work

Hello everyone! Happy almost TGIF! Next week, we are doing "Columbus Explores New Lands" for our story. It's not my favorite story but it does have some good skills to teach. My kids need lots of practice with main idea so that's something I'm going to hit hard next week.  You can grab the morning work by clicking on the link below the images.
I've been thinking about adding my morning work packets to the Treasures units that I create. Any thoughts on this?

We had our Famous Americans day at school. It went really well. All the 2nd grade classes paraded through the halls in our costumes. Then, we had a wax museum in our classrooms and the kids had to tell the kids from other classes about their Famous American.

  1. As someone who purchases every Treasures Unit- I think you should add them! Only because 1) everything would be in one nice, neat pdf. package for later use and 2) you deserve a little something for all your hardwork!

  2. These look great! I am soo excited for Friday! I just need to sleep in and I guess get some work done since I haven't been able to get anything done this week! Happy Friday almost!

  3. Thanks as always for these! :) LOVE them! Glad to hear your living museum went awesome! The second grade teachers at my old school did that and the kids just loved it!

  4. You should do whatever works best for you! :) I personally like them separate because it's easy for me to come on when you post on fb and get them as a quick review/check of skills for my students, where I usually don't get to everything in the units. If putting them together works best for you though, it wouldn't be the end of the world for me.

  5. I agree with Jessica. I am trying to hold off on purchasing all the Treasures Units until summer so I have more time to organize everything. We just adopted the series! You should consider selling all the units together for one price. Your stuff is great!!!!

  6. I'm so jealous you get to have a living wax museum! Only 3rd grade gets to do that at our building. Glad it went well :) Have a nice weekend!

  7. Way to go on being the TPT featured author!! :) I am just now reading it haha. :)

  8. I saw you on the newsletter today! Way to go! Hey, are you doing a sale on Wednesday? I thought I would get a post ready for tomorrow and tell my readers about other people who are going to have things on sale. Maybe there is an item that you would like me to promote for you. I have another math mystery ready, but it is the 3rd grade version...I'm trying to get the 2nd grade one done ASAP.

Let me know if you would like to make a post with something of mine if I promote something of yours. Here's a link to an item you could put on...if you want.
