My camera also decided to quit working while I was there. Here are a few pictures from my cell phone.

Beautiful houses in Charleston
This is one of the most unique buildings I've ever seen
The Pirates' house in Savannah
Another gorgeous house in Savannah
Where are you going on vacation?
I'll be working on some things over the next few weeks as I try to get back in the swing of things.

Looks like a fun vacation! Those houses really are gorgeous.

I've been to savannah twice and absolutely love the city! Houses are so beautiful and food is good! :) I've also been to Charleston last year and I like that city too, but Savannah does it for me by far!

ReplyDeleteThose houses are beautiful!! I've never been in that part of the country, but would like to go someday!
ReplyDeleteI am going to Colorado Springs with my mom and my friend. Then the hubby, my family and I will be going to the northeast to the beach with all my dad's family! And then Mr. Hubby and I will go to Boston for a few days!
Those houses are amazing!! I've never been to Charleston or Savannah, but I've heard good things. I hope you find more time to relax :) I think we all need it!

Dirty Hands and Lesson Plans
Wow! Charleston & Savannah are just beautiful. I'm headed to Jamaica in a few days for my summer vacation which I'm definitely looking forward to. I'm sorry it wasn't such a relaxing vacation. Find some time to get some R & R for yourself. :)

Learning Is Something to Treasure
OOOO I LOVE Savannah. I went there when I was a little girl in the Girl Scouts and I fell in love, it is such a romantic city with all of the Spanish Moss. I always said that given the opportunity I would move there, but then I remember the mosquitoes . . . sorry it rained . . . . I cancelled my beach trip this week for the very same reason. :/

That unique building used to have a restaurant in it...does it still?
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Charleston and those flooded streets are very common.

I absolutely LOVE Savannah. My husband and I go every year on our anniversary. I've never been to Charleston, but my hubby is going to check it out when he's up there on a mission trip this summer. Sorry it rained on you!

It looks like you had a great trip (except for the rain). I keep extra shoes & socks in my desk drawer because I can't stand wet socks either.

I love Charleston! I have family there!! There used to be this great Italian restaurant in Mt. Pleasant that had the BEST food...OMG!
ReplyDeleteI taught second grade for 2 years before being moved to Kindergarten! It was such a fun grade to teach, but I am definitely meant to be a K teacher!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm your newest follower. I live in SC and Charleston is one of my favorite cities in the world!! So much history and beauty, but it does flood horribly! We're headed to our annual family trip to Myrtle Beach soon, but I'm sure we'll make it to Charleston soon. You must eat at Lady and Sons in Savannah next time, if you didn't this time....mmmmm!
