Elf Mischief

December 10, 2012

We’ve had our elf for two weeks now and he has been up to lots of mischief. The kids decided to name him Elfred and I have no idea why. I keep wanting to call him Jingle since that’s what we named him last year.

Elfred decided to draw himself on the board. The kids were upset that he didn’t write his E correctly.
Elfred stole a candy cane ornament off of the tree and tried to eat it.
Elfred got really bored and took pictures of himself on all the computers and devices in the room.
The kids decided he must have a brother because of this picture.
He even played with the iPods and the iPad.

He decided to play Santa Bump with Charlie Brown.  He even used red and green cubes. Haha!
Have a good week friends!

    1. Haha! We were making an anchor chart on nouns and one of my kids said him. I was surprised that they knew who he was. One of them also said New Kids on the Block which shocked me even more.

  1. Those elf pictures are funny. Since you have iPads in the classroom I thought you may be interested in Speed!

Speed! is a skip-counting card game created to help kids learn multiplication. It is available both as physical cards and now on the iPad. I created the game to help my daughter learn multiplication and it worked great. My husband is a computer engineer and created the iPad version. We hope you can find some use for it in your classroom.
