Reading Response Unit 6

March 25, 2013

Happy Monday everyone! There’s nothing like starting off Spring break with snow. I finished Unit 6 of the reading response prompts for Treasures and I was reminded how much I don’t like the stories in the last unit. The only story I really like is “Mice and Beans.”

3/26 — Typo fixed on page 4. Please download these again if you have already grabbed a copy.

Just a reminder — When you try to download these prompts, don’t click share. That sends me an email and you won’t believe how many of those emails I get a day. All you need to do is click download because I have already shared them with you.

Are you on Spring break this week? Even though it’s snowing, I am so glad to be off.  I’m going to spend some time with my new nephew this week.

  1. How much snow did you get? Our news said 17 inches this morning, so we have a snow day! I am taking a break from shoveling to check in with the blogging world. I like how your reading response questions would fit right on the top of my students' reading notebooks. Unfortunately, we do not have the same version of Treasures, but I still get ideas. 🙂 I think I caught one typing error from a Stirring Up Memories question – Why might some people think being a write(r) is glamorous? Thanks again!

  2. I had to switch grade levels this year to fourth and I loved the Mice and beans story and your unit activities that went with them. Thanks so much for doing these, even though I can't use them I still send them to my team and I know they appreciate them.
