Happy Friday! It’s time for Five for Friday and I’m finally linking up again.
(1) I finally got my Boggle board done. I just couldn’t decide how I wanted it to look and when I wanted the kids to use it.
I found some cute cardstock at Hobby Lobby that can be used for cardmaking. I cut the cards in half on the fold and laminated them. (Sorry for the bad quality picture. Classroom lights don’t help!) I used some big glittery stickers I had for the letters. I attached them with Velcro so I could change them out each week.
My kiddos were so excited to see this hanging up. We had worked on Boggle together on the Activboard so they will be doing it independently next week.
(2) We’ve been working on declarative and interrogative sentences this week.
We did a group sort with some sentences that turned out really well. I’ll post more about that this weekend.
(3) We went on a field trip this week. It was so but we had fun. The kids got to drive little police cards and ride bikes after learning about road and pedestrian safety.
We also learned about fire safety and practiced escaping a fire safety house.
(4) Have you heard of The Container Store’s organized teacher newsletter? I love seeing all the ideas
in this newsletter. You should definitely check it out.
in this newsletter. You should definitely check it out.
I was so excited to see myself in their newsletter this week. I have been lucky enough to contribute to the Organized Teacher Pinterest board and some of my pins made the newsletter. So cool!
(5) Last but not least, I found this adorable onesie for my nephew.
Go Vols!
Oooh I saw that pin of the photos on your containers for the kids and thought it was a great idea! I'm looking forward to reading more about what you did with those sentences

Those little police cars are adorable! We don't have a Container Store in Canada. Thank goodness for online ordering. Thanks for all your nifty ideas and links!

The Perks of Teaching Primary
Should the Container store photo act like a link? I can't seem to click on anything around there to see the great newsletter.
Thanks for all the interesting ideas.
I am looking forward to more on the 2 sentence types also!
Thanks,
Dorothy
