Chevron Love with Teacher Created Resources

February 22, 2014

I am in love with chevron. When I see it on something, I am immediately drawn to it. So I was so excited when Teacher Created Resources contacted me to see if I would try out some of their new chevron line. Check out the pretty colors. Below you will see the aqua chevron nameplates and chevron frame accents.

I got the products in the mail a few weeks ago and I was so excited to use them. But does anyone else have the problem of coming up with a million ideas to use something but being afraid of ruining the thing? I know. I’m strange.

I decided today to use some of the chevron name tags to update my file cabinet labels. Previously, I had some green labels that really didn’t do anything for me.  I used my chevron name tags to make these ugly file cabinets look slightly more trendy. Now, if only I had the time to clean out the inside.

I used some of the chevron frames to label some book boxes that just won’t fit on my crowded library shelves. I’m not sure why Library Mouse is in that box but the other books are winter themed AR books. I decided to name it seasonal books so I could just change out the books without changing the nameplate.
I came up with a great idea for those frames after I made my Valentine bags with owls.
I love these little owl bags and they would be so cute for lots of different things. How cute would it be to use the chevron frames as the owl’s belly instead of a heart? If you got solid colored bags, the chevron would really pop. These could be used for end of the year gift bags or any special occasion.

If you love chevron like I do, I highly recommend these chevron decorations for your classroom or crafting needs.
Happy Friday!
