I’m linking up with Amanda to share a Must-Read book. This week, I am going to share books that you should read for enjoyment. Spring break is coming up and these books are perfect, quick reads.
The first book that I want to share is for those of you who like mysteries. You have got to read “Defending Jacob” by William Landay.
One of my colleagues loaned me her book and I couldn’t put it down. My dad is reading it right now and he told me the exact same thing. Amazing and you cannot see the ending coming.

Another book that you have to read is “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green.

This is marketed as a teen book but I loved it. It’s a sweet story and it’s being made into a movie. You have to read it before the movie comes out because I’m sure that the book will be so much better.
Do you have any book recommendations for me for spring break?

  1. Oh. I have never heard of Defending Jacob. It just got added to my TBR list. That is already ridiculously long and I read a lot. But it looks so good!
For YA the Marie Lu Legend series is awesome (3 of them plus an ebook novella) … a must read if you are a Hunger Games or Divergent fan. Y. S. Lee's The Agency series is loads of fun if you like historical mysteries. The author of TFIOS has the MOST HILARIOUS YouTube channel along with his brother (and they each have at least one educational channel as well). The video "Fitness for Nerds" is a MUST WATCH. Doesn't have anything to do with the book but anyway. 😉
I don't read as many "grown up" books so that one's harder. My favorite writers are Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, James Rollins, Steve Berry, and Anne Perry. Elizabeth Peters as well but she's not publishing much in the way of new stuff anymore.
