Fall is my favorite time of year. I love all the fun themes that can be taught during this time of year.
On Friday, my grade will be taking a trip to a pumpkin patch and I am so excited. So this week will be focused on pumpkins.
Our main comprehension skill is cause and effect so I will be using some pumpkin themed fiction books to teach this skill and I’ll be throwing in some nonfiction too.
First up, I will be reading “The Littlest Pumpkin.”
I have this little freebie for you to go with this book for cause and effect.
Some other pumpkin books we will be reading are below.
That’s all I have for today. We had our fall festival on Friday night and I didn’t get as much planned out as I would like so I am doing that today. I hope to be back soon to share some other pumpkin things we are going to be doing this week.
Have a great Sunday!
