  9. I would love to read more about Amelia Earhart!!! My students do a biography book report every year and I would use this as my read aloud for my example!

  10. I would like to read about Einstein with my class. I think his personal difficulties and differences would make connections with some of my kiddos and help all of them be more accepting of others.

    I teach special needs students, and I would love for them to read/learn about Helen Keller. She was my hero growing up, and I want my students to see that their disabilities will not be able to hold them down.

  29. My students love to study MLK, Jr. We do a biography/hero project in the spring, so we'll be studying several important historical figures in the next few weeks.
