Summer Reading Picks (2015)

I always look forward to summer because I love to read and I just don't have time during the school year. I'm really excited about some of my summer books so I thought I'd share them with you. I love when I see people post their book picks.

Any book by Mary Kay Andrews is the perfect beach read. All her books are set in the south and are so funny. This is one of my top picks for the summer!

I picked this book up from the library, mostly because of the cover. Doesn't it look like a good summer read?

I've seen "Fish in a Tree" on many book lists. I can't wait to read this one.

I love books by Diane Chamberlain. I've read most of her other books and highly recommend them to anyone.

I've seen this book everywhere. It's getting great reviews and I love suspenseful books.

I absolutely love Chevy Stevens' books. They are suspenseful and full of twists. This new book comes out in July and I can't wait to grab a copy.

First of all, I love the design of this book. The outside is so beautiful. I'm excited about starting this devotional this summer. I've heard great things about it and I can't wait to begin.

I love Jen Hatmaker! Her blog is always straight to the point and I love her HGTV show. So I thought I'd read one of her books. I actually picked up a few at our local used book store but I'm starting with this one.

For my professional reading, I'm planning on reading the books below.

Okay, so those are a few of my summer reads. I actually have more that I want to read if I can get to them.  I'm studying the take the GRE in two weeks so I'm mostly reading the GRE study book right now.  I don't seem to remember any math past 2nd grade so I'm in trouble. But I've got the language part down.

In other news, I got a new puppy, Toby, and he's giving me a run for my money. Oh man! Puppies are exhausting. But luckily, I can give him lots of attention over the summer.

Hope you have a great weekend and happy reading!

I'm linking my post up with a summer reading linky party at "Adventures of Room 129."
