February Fun – Groundhog Day

January 31, 2017

It’s almost February. The shortest month with the most fun
content to teach. Here are some ideas for your for your February
plans.

February 2nd – Groundhog Day

I found two new groundhog books on Amazon. “Grumpy Groundhogby Maureen Wright is a cute rhyming book that your students would love. Groundhog Weather School” by Joan Holub is full of fun facts about groundhogs, weather, and seasons. Your kiddos will love learning all about how Groundhogs Day came to be and why it’s on February 2nd.  (Click on the book covers to view on Amazon.)
